Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between DriveSafe Automatic Telford and the learner (“you”). By booking a lesson, you agree to these terms.

 

2. Lesson Requirements

•  You must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and present it on request.

•  You must be legally fit to drive, including meeting eyesight requirements.

•  You must inform us of any medical conditions or circumstances that may affect your ability to drive.

 

3. Lesson Duration & Structure

•  Standard lessons are delivered in two‑hour sessions unless otherwise agreed.

•  Lessons begin and end at the pre‑arranged time. Late arrival may reduce the lesson duration.

 

4. Payments

•  Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

•  Lessons are not confirmed until payment has been received.

 

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

Cancellations Over 7 Days Before the Lesson

•  A full refund is available.

Cancellations Between 48 Hours and 7 Days

•  No refund is available.

•  You may reschedule once within the next 28 days, subject to availability.

Cancellations Less Than 48 Hours Before the Lesson

•  No refund or reschedule is available.

•  This includes missed lessons or late arrivals where the lesson cannot proceed.

 

6. Instructor Responsibilities

We will:

•  Provide a safe, roadworthy, fully insured automatic vehicle.

•  Deliver structured, professional instruction tailored to your progress.

•  Act professionally, respectfully, and in line with DVSA standards.

 

7. Learner Responsibilities

You agree to:

•  Attend lessons on time.

•  Follow instructions designed to maintain safety.

•  Treat the vehicle and instructor with respect.

•  Avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs driving.

If we believe you are unfit to drive, the lesson will not proceed and no refund will be given.

 

8. Driving Tests

•  Test bookings are your responsibility unless agreed otherwise.

•  A test‑day lesson must be booked if you wish to use our vehicle for the test.

•  Use of the vehicle for the test is at the instructor’s discretion and depends on safety and readiness.

 

9. Insurance

Our vehicle is fully insured for learner drivers.  

You are covered for tuition and test use unless you act negligently or breach these terms.

 

10. Liability

We are not liable for:

•  Personal items lost or damaged during lessons.

•  Delays or cancellations caused by weather, traffic, illness, or DVSA actions.

•  Any costs arising from test cancellations by the DVSA.

 

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
